Paul Lang - Natural Products Inc.

Paul Lang is General Manager of Natural Products, Inc. of Grinnell, Iowa.  Paul, along with his brothers, has spent the past 12 years developing new products and processes concerning whole soy flours.  This has resulted in three new factories and many unique ingredients for the bakery and soyfoods world.  Paul Lang was trained at Texas A&M University in horticulture and lived in northern Thailand for 4 years introducing fruit and vegetable crops as replacement crops to opium.  Following this, Paul returned to the family farm, which manages a large corn and soybean operation.  Natural Products, Inc. was established in 1995 in order to find unique ways to add value to soybeans and other specialty grains.

Paul has served in many capacities with the Soyfoods Association of North America.  He is also the chairman of a non-profit organization called SALT INTERNATIONAL, which has a processing plant in Laos.  There are over 3000 families growing soybeans under contract and over 100,000 school children benefiting daily from the corn/soy blended food product. Paul is married with 9 children.
